A Passive House is a building that is thermally comfortable year-round, resilient to extreme fluctuations in external temperatures. This is achieved through airtight construction, appropriate levels of thermal insulation, mechanical heat recovery ventilation systems, high-performance glazing, and thermal bridge-free detailing.
