Forgoing limitations of a tiny house, the Treehouse provides two spaces to inhabit and an invitation to move between the indoors and outdoors.

With both buildings oriented to the north, this design maximises passive solar gain with the courtyard allowing northern light and cross-flow ventilation through both. The internal courtyard also provides a private outdoor space protected from the elements. Internally, a light-filled bathroom off the courtyard gives a sense of bathing in nature.

Designed for functionality, there is an option for a fold-away wall bed and dining table for increased floor space. Minimal raw finishes also allow for durability and longevity.

The Treehouse can be designed as either one bedroom, or two bedroom with a tree-top bridge connection between the two dwellings.
